Only days left!
Oh sweet GEEZAZ! I’m nervous about this now, I can’t believe it’s only days left until I leave for the airport. And a full 24 hour journey to meet my mahal (‘my love’ for those who don’t know it). This trip is going to be exhausting on so many levels I can’t even begin to count them, but the goal makes it all worth it. I can only imagine what life is going to be like there, besides the extreme heat it’s a whole different tempo of life. Compared to what I define as a big city the Manila Metro will appear as big as a whole planet for me. At least I won’t get bored, new things to see every day and no Swedish coffee anywhere in sight :(
It’ll be heaven, complete with a miniature version of hell without my coffee.
But it’s worth it. I’m leaving my comfort zone and entering a whole other world where I will be blinded every day by a smile that would melt a volcano.
